KSP: One dead in Pike Co. house fire

PIKEVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kentucky State Police say one person has died after a house fire in the Island Creek community of Pike County early Thursday morning.

Troopers say that emergency personnel found the body of 53-year-old Connie Holt in the home.  She was pronounced dead at the scene by the Pike County coroner.

The cause of the fire, and the death, remain under investigation.
