LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – As we’ve told you, Solid Blue fans gobbled up the initial allotment of TaxSlayer Bowl tickets given to UK, so there’s definitely some interest in a New Year’s Eve bowl game in Florida.

What more could you ask for getting to spend the last few days of 2016 in Jacksonville with the sunshine?

Mark Stoops is looking forward to it.  He already got to take one trip for the bowl’s news conference last week and he’s looking forward to trip number two in a few more weeks…with a lot more blue in tow.
