White Chocolate Bourbon Popcorn with Peppermint Crunch
Ingredients
- 12 c. Kettle Corn or homemade Popped Corn (about 1/4 c. kernels)
- 1/2 c. white chocolate chips + 1/2 tsp shortening or5 oz. white chocolate candy melts or3.5 oz vanilla almond bark
- 3 TBSP butter
- 2 TBSP bourbon
- 2 T. crushed candy cane or peppermint
Instructions
- Melt your white chocolate choice in the microwave or double broiler. Add in the melted butter and bourbon. Whisk or stir vigorously to blend well.
- Pour chocolate over popcorn, tossing gently to coat each kernel.
- Evenly spread popcorn onto a baking sheet and sprinkle with crushed peppermint/candy cane.
- Let sit until dry about 1-2 hours (if possible to contain yourself)
