Santa Claus Headlines Lexington Christmas Parade

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – We’re still more than two weeks away from Christmas, but Lexington looked ready for the holidays Tuesday night with its annual Christmas Parade downtown.

There were floats, marching bands, and dignitaries headlined by Santa Claus himself.

Rain earlier in the day had mostly moved out by parade time at 7:00 p.m.

The parade route was down Main Street from Midland Avenue to Mill Street.
