LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – It’s officially official Solid Blue fans.

Kentucky and Georgia Tech are set to kick off in the TaxSlayer Bowl Saturday, December 31st at 11 am on ESPN.

Mark Stoops spoke with the media on the bowl’s teleconference Sunday night.

He, UK AD Mitch Barnhart and the Cats are all excited about going bowling and doing so in the Sunshine state.

Stoops last coached against the Yellow Jackets in the 2012 ACC championship game while at FSU.  The Seminoles beat Tech 21-15.  Stoops was introduced at UK the following day.
