LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – What’s it like getting the biggest win of your tenure as a head coach?  The one no one gave you a chance at winning?

Mark Stoops and the football Cats have never lost faith and believe they can win any game.

The administration believes it can win any game on the schedule too.  It’s all part of the culture change at Kentucky, not a climate change.

Beating Louisville last weekend in the Ville, for Mark Stoops, was for the Solid Blue fans…and for those who have supported him and the staff through thick and thin.

With the TaxSlayer Bowl selection approaching, we look back at the season finale against the Cards to see what Impact it has on the program.

Just how big of a jolt in the arm is it for the team headed into postseason play for the first time since 2010?

It was unexpected for many, but welcomed.  A 7-5 finish after an 0-2 start for Mitch Barnhart, Eli Capilouto, the Solid Blue fans there through the good times and bad, those who weren’t always there but are back on the train, is great.
