Good Giving Guide Challenge (Live Shot – 3)

ABC 36’s Doug High heads to downtown Lexington to visit the Philanthro-Party Pep Rally in the 5/3 Pavilion, which kicks off the Good Giving Challenge.

Since its inception in 2011, The GoodGiving Challenge has raised over $5.5 million for Bluegrass nonprofits, making it among the most successful giving events in Kentucky. Last year, 6,979 donations resulted in $1.34 million impacting amazing local nonprofits.

For 2016, the GoodGiving Challenge, hosted by the Blue Grass Community Foundation and Smiley Pete Publishing, will raise funds for 120 Central and Eastern Kentucky charities.

The Challenge runs from Nov. 29 through Dec. 31.
