I-75 Open Again After Fatal Crash in Florence

FLORENCE, Ky (WTVQ)-Florence police responded to a crash on I-75 southbound Sunday.

Officers say James Lutz and Cynthia Gooch were standing on the side of the road, possibly working on their car.

A van came off the road and hit the pair. Police say Schawanna Jones from Covington was driving that van. She and gooch were taken to the hospital with serious injuries, but responders pronounced Lutz dead on the scene.

Police say no charges have been filed yet.
