UPDATE: Coroner Announces Second Crash Victim Was UK Employee

LEXINGTON, Ky (WTVQ)- The Fayette County Coroner has released the name of the second man hit and killed by a car in Lexington Saturday morning.
Timothy Moore was 56 years old and an employee at the University of Kentucky.
Suzanne Whitlow, 26, is charged with two counts of manslaughter and one count of DUI in the case. Police say Whitlow was driving on Upper Street when she lost control of her car and hit two people walking near the road.

Both pedestrians were taken to the hospital where they died from their injuries.

Louisville Metro Police Department has identified the other victim as Detective Jason Schweitzer. The Department says Schweitzer began his career with the Jefferson County Police Department in 2001 then became a Louisville Metro detective. Schweitzer was also Vice President of the River City FOP Lodge 614.
