Keeneland to host seeblue. Day on Friday

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – It will be a sea of blue at Keeneland’s seeblue. Day this Friday.

Along with racing, fans will be treated to performances by the UK Cheer team, DanceBlue, the UK Band, and appearances by the UK Track and Field team, including its 2016 Olympians.

UK students, alumni, faculty, and staff will receive free general admission to the track, along with reserved Grandstand seating with a valid UK ID.  The first 200 UK alumni to present their Alumni Association membership card at the UK Alumni Association tables will receive a gift.

Fans can also get their photo taken with the 2012 NCAA National Men’s Basketball Championship trophy, which will be on display in the Merchandise Pavilion from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Fans can enjoy a “Kentucky Double” on both Friday and Saturday, with a full afternoon of racing each day followed by UK’s Blue-White game at Rupp Arena on Friday evening and Saturday night’s game between UK and Mississippi State at Commonwealth Stadium.

Gates open on Friday at 11:00 a.m., with a first race post time of 1:05 p.m.
