LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – We all know Coach Cal gets guys to the league.  For the most part, they tend to stick.

Cal threw out the 75 percent rule recently.  75 percent of the players who have come to Kentucky have gotten drafted.  Of that 75 percent, 75 percent have earned a second contract in the NBA.

There’s a lot of natural talent and gifted guys in that mix.  But they all needed their time in Lexington according to Cal.

That’s part of Cal’s message to the current Cats, and of course prospective future Cats as well, on why come to Kentucky?
