UPDATE: Arrest made in London fatal shooting

LONDON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The London Police Department says an arrest has been made in a shooting on Sunday that left one man dead.

According to officers, John Stricker was arrested at around 10:30 p.m. at a home on Bundy Hollow Road in Clay County, and is accused of killing his stepfather, 62-year-old Donnie Stone.

Investigators say Stricker admitted to officers that he had shot Stone five times with a .38-caliber pistol.

Stricker was taken to the Laurel County Detention Center.  He has been charged with murder.

London Police say they are looking for 35-year-old John Stricker as a person of interest in a death investigation.

Police are warning the public that Stricker may be armed and is dangerous.

The death investigation began Sunday morning and is ongoing at a residence in the 700 block of Middleground Way.

Police believe Stricker is driving a black dodge pick up truck, with a faded front hood and missing front grill.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts are asked to contact police.
