A small child was dropped from the balcony, but the family got out safely after an overnight fire in Frankfort.
Firefighters say it happened around 1:30 Wednesday morning at the Raven Crest Apartments on Georgetown Road in Frankfort.
They said a grease fire spread. A female resident inside dropped a small child from her balcony to bystanders below. No injuries are reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
