Coroner identifies victim in Lexington fatal hit-and-run
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Fayette County Coroner has identified the victim in a fatal hit-and-run that happened early Tuesday morning on North Broadway and New Circle Road.
The coroner says the victim is 21-year-old Johnathan Adams.
The coroner’s report lists the cause of death as multiple blunt force traumas.
Lexington police are still looking for the driver of a red Chevy Impala in connection to the incident. Officers say the windshield and mirror on the right side of the car are damaged.

A hit-and-run in Lexington leaves one man dead and police looking for a driver.
Police were called to North Broadway and New Circle Road just before 1 a.m. Tuesday where they found the victim in the road.
Police believe the victim was walking along the shoulder of the road when he was struck.
He was taken to the University of Kentucky hospital where he later died.
The victim did not have identification on him so they are not sure who he is, according to police.
Police are searching for the driver of the car, who witnesses say took off from the scene after hitting the victim.
The car is described as a red Chevy Impala.
Police believe the mirror and the windshield on the right side of the car are damaged.
