Addressing social issues

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Athletes taking stands on social issues is nothing new, but it is certainly highlighted more often today than before.

Take Colin Kaepernick, recently, for example.

As a Kentucky basketball player, a high profile, celebrity-like status in the Commonwealth and beyond, Coach Cal knows it’s important for his guys to understand perspectives and viewpoints and how to react in topical situations.
