Crash Kills Woman In Adair County
Kentucky State Police believe alcohol was a factor in a fatal crash in Adair County.
Police said Stacy Carter, 49, was driving down Kentucky 206 when she lost control of her car.
The car went off the road, hit a utility pole then went through a fence.
Carter was taken to the hospital where she was later pronounced dead.
Police said she was not wearing a seat belt.
They also said alcohol may have played a role in the crash.
