Man critically injured, dog killed in car crash
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A driver suffers life-threatening injuries in an early-morning accident in Lexington.
Police say a man was driving on New Circle Road near Georgetown Road just before 3 a.m. Thursday when his car went off the road, struck a sign and then a utility pole.
The driver was taken to the University of Kentucky hospital.
Police say there were two dogs in the car. One of the dogs died.
Police are still investigating the crash.
