Police investigate armed robbery in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Police are investigating an armed robbery at a Lexington convenience store.

They were called to the Thorntons at 1120 Winchester Road on Tuesday at around 1:15 a.m.

The clerk told police a man came in with a red bandanna covering his face and carrying a handgun. He demanded money and left after getting it.
