KYTC: Scheduled closure for part of Balkan Road in Bell Co.

MANCHESTER, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says that a portion of KY 2012 (Balkan Road) in Bell County will be closed beginning Thursday, September 22 at 7:00 a.m.

The closure will be at mile points 0.0 – 1.5, and is expected to re-open Friday, September 23 at 7 p.m.

The closure will allow KYTC crews to excavate and repair roadway base failures.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet asks motorists to be aware of the work zone, expected long delays and to utilize safe driving habits when traveling through the area.
