‘India Day’ celebrates Indian culture in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- An event in Lexington Sunday allowed the public to get a taste of Indian culture, literally.

The Bluegrass Indo-American Civic Society hosts the “India Day” event each year with cuisine, costumes, and culture.

This year, the event was held at the Moondance Amphitheater on Beaumont Circle Road. The annual event allows BIACS to award more than 15 scholarships to Kentucky students.
