Diesel spill shuts down I-75 entrance ramp in Fayette Co.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The entrance ramp from Athens-Boonesboro Road to I-75 is currently closed, and will likely remain so until 5:00 p.m. or 5:30 p.m., according to Lexington Police and Fire Departments.

Officers say the closure was caused by a diesel spill on the interstate.

Investigators say the spill stretched about a mile long.
