“Doggie bank” returned to Lexington Humane Society
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Lexington Humane Society has its “doggie bank” back.
Someone took the donation jar, known as the “doggie bank,” from the counter on Saturday.
Security cameras at the humane society showed a man take the bank, go into the men’s room, and stick it under his shirt before leaving.
Using that video, the humane society was able to find the man and get the bank, along the money inside, back.
He will be prosecuted.
This comes during a humane society “matching” campaign. Up to $25,000 dollars, raised between now and October 16th, will be matched.
