Students spend time with KSP in Harlan

HARLAN, Ky. (WTVQ) – On Thursday, a group of ten Knox Co. Central High School students paid a visit to Kentucky State Police Post 10 in Harlan to learn more about police work.

Post 10 Commander, Captain P.J. Burnett, spoke with the students about the structure of KSP, and his role as supervisor.

Students also received information about arson investigation, detective skills, accident reconstruction and highway safety.

The ten students then received a tour of Post 10 before leaving and looking into a KSP cruiser.
