KSP: Lawrenceburg man killed in crash

MERCER COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- State police say there was a deadly collision Tuesday on the Bluegrass Parkway in Mercer County.

Troopers say a man lost control of his car and collided with a pickup that was traveling the same direction. State police say the truck then went off the road and hit a tree.

Investigators say the pickup driver, 71-year-old William Hooper of Lawrenceburg, was killed. State police say no other injuries were reported, and alcohol and weather do not appear to be factors in the collision.
