Lexington man accused of trying to have sex with a minor

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Attorney General’s Office accuses a Lexington man of trying to have sex with a minor.

Investigators say 57-year-old Christoper McElhone posted an online ad with the phrase “a mature man looking for a high school hottie.”

The A-G’s office says McElhone later thought he was communicating online with a minor, but it was actually an undercover investigator.
