Deputies: Victim’s dad catches home invasion suspect
PULASKI COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department says a man shot at two people after they broke into his daughter’s home.
Investigators say the victim was in her house Friday morning on Piney Grove Road in White Lily when she heard men’s voices. Deputies say the woman called 911, then hung up and called her father who lives nearby.
The sheriff’s department says the dad arrived at the home and saw two men leaving. They say the father then fired a gun, hitting the suspects’ car.
Deputies say the dad held one of the men at gunpoint until authorities arrived. They say 29-year-old David M. Lafavers of Somerset was arrested at the scene. The second suspect ran off.
According to the sheriff’s department, someone later saw a suspicious man in the area of Piney Grove Road. They say 28-year-0ld Kyle C. Cordell of Somerset was arrested there and charged with Burglary and Arson.
