9/11 memorial service in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A memorial service will be held Friday in Lexington to honor the victims of 9/11.
The Lexington Fire Department Honor Guard and the Lexington Police Department Color Guard will place a wreath in Phoenix Park to honor the New York Firefighters and Police Officers who died during the 9/11 attack.
The wreath will be placed between the Lexington Fallen Firefighter and the Lexington Fallen Peace Officer Memorial on the Main Street side of Phoenix Park.
There will be a brief service following the wreath placement.
The service takes place at 100 East Main Street from 9 a.m. – 9:15 a.m.
