School truck stolen, vandalized; suspects sought

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office says a group of men vandalized and stole an East Bernstadt Independent School utility truck.

Deputies say around 7:00 Friday evening, several men broke into a school storage building. They say the suspects were seen on surveillance cameras.

When investigators found the truck a couple of miles away, they say it had been damaged and appeared to have been driven off the road.  The sheriff’s office says the suspects also took tools from it.
