Laurel deputies: Intoxicated bus passenger arrested on I-75

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office says an intoxicated woman had to be removed from a Greyhound Bus.

Deputies say 35-year-old Tanji Hyde of North Carolina was arrested early Wednesday morning on I-75, south of London. Investigators say they received a complaint of a disturbance on the bus. Deputies say they later learned Hyde had been involved in a fight with another passenger.

According to the sheriff’s office, she tripped and fell as she got off the bus. Deputies say Hyde was charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place and disorderly conduct – second-degree.
