Vigil for weekend shooting victim set for tonight

Lexington, Ky. (WTVQ) – A vigil is planned tonight for a Lexington teen who was shot to death over the weekend.

18-year-old Caleb Hallet was shot and killed on University Avenue early Sunday morning.

The corner says hallet died from a gunshot wound.  A friend he was with suffered non life-thretening injuries.

A vigil is planned for tonight at 7:00pm at Gardenside Park.  A Go-Fund-Me page has also been set up to pay for Hallet’s funeral expenses.
