Police: Richmond men had stolen, forged check

RICHMOND, Ky. (WTVQ)- Police say two men face charges in connection to a stolen and forged check.

Investigators say 26-year-old Justin Hendricks tried to pay a $59.00 service bill with a $200.00 check drawn on the account of an estate. Police say an employee at Second Chance Auto Sales became suspicious of the check and contacted authorities.

According to police, 30-year-old James B. Hendricks was also charged in the case. Investigators say he had possession of the check before Justin Hendricks tried to use it.
