Lexington intersection worries parents

Lexington, Ky. (WTVQ) – Parents sending their students to one Lexington elementary school are worried.

It’s not about the quality of education, rather, the safety of their walk to and from school.

The intersection is the one near Veterans Park Elementary, where Fiddler Creek Way meets Clearwater.

Parents say many drivers are treating that 3-way stop  intersection more like a suggestion.  They hope to get the attention of city leaders in hopes of a change and possibly a crossing guard.
