Dump truck driver killed in fatal crash on I-64

CLARK COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – A driver of a dump truck was killed after crashing into an embankment on I-64, according to the Clark County Sheriff’s Office.

It happened at 12:40 a.m. Tuesday morning near mile marker 99 in Clark County.

Officials say the driver has not been identified.

They say no other vehicles were involved.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.

One lane on I-64 was shutdown but has now reopened.
