6 arrests made in Mt. Sterling drug bust

MT. STERLING, Ky (WTVQ)- 6 individuals were arrested after being found in the possession of illegal drugs.

The Mount Sterling Police Department responded to a local hotel after receiving a complaint.

When officers arrives, they witnessed criminal activity.

A large amount of suspected Crystal Methamphetamine was seized at the scene.

All suspects involved have been charged with trafficking in a controlled substance in the 1st degree (Methamphetamine).

According to the Mont Sterling Police Department, Amos Gilliam and Brian Blevins were also charged with separate counts of trafficking in a controlled substance in the 1st degree 2nd offense from a separate investigation.

The following arrests were made:

1. Amos Gilliam 35, Mount Sterling Kentucky- Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Methamphetamine). Also Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Methamphetamine) separate Investigation.

2. Lakkan Minix 26, Louisville Kentucky-Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Methamphetamine).

3. Brian Blevins 38, Mount Sterling Kentucky- Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Methamphetamine). Also Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree 2nd Offense (Methamphetamine).

4. Ashley Highly 27, Mount Sterling Kentucky- Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Methamphetamine).

5. Julia K. Eaglebarger 36, Mount Sterling- Kentucky Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Methamphetamine).

6. Ryan Lawson, 35 Mount Sterling Kentucky- Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Methamphetamine).
