5 Bomb Threats Made In Monroe County


Bomb threats were called-in to five places in Monroe County Thursday.

According to the Monroe County Sheriff, Tompkinsville Elementary and the Monroe County’s Attorney’s Office were two of the places the threats were made against. The sheriff said the caller stated that the bombs would go off in 15 minutes. Tompkinsville was evacuated and school was cancelled for the day.

Police say bomb threats were also called into McDonalds, Sonic, and Wal-Mart.
