45th annual Woodland Art Fair returns to Woodland Park

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The 45th annual Woodland Art Fair is this weekend at Woodland Park.

The annual event is rated as one of the top 200 fine arts and design fairs by sunshine magazine. And is the largest free cultural event in Central Kentucky. For Savane’s Silver Owner, Rachel Savane, it was a homecoming.

“I started my career here 25 years ago. So in celebration of 25, I wanted to apply and come back and do an art fair. Thanks to the people who organize art fairs, they get to give us this stage to show what we can do” said Savane.

The Woodland Art Fair draws in 70,000 visitors on average. For public safety, healthy at work guidelines were applied to this year’s event.
