45,000 HALO Magic Sleepsuits recalled over infant choking hazard
(ABC36 NEWS NOW) – A recall has been issued for thousands of infant sleep products due to a potential choking hazard.
HALO Sleep is recalling about 45,000 “Magic Sleepsuits” after reports that the zipper heads can detach.
According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, the loose zipper pieces could pose a choking risk for infants.
The sleepsuits were sold online by major retailers including Amazon, Walmart, and Target between September and last month.
Officials say the affected products feature dual zippers and the product name printed on the chest.
Regulators say no injuries have been reported in connection with the recall.
