4 day “roundup” leads to numerous arrests in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- Almost fifty people have been arrested in Lexington after a four-day roundup.

Lexington Police says at the end of Jul and beginning of August, multi-agency teams spread out through Lexington trying to find offenders with significant charges like assault, sex crimes, and trafficking in narcotics.

In addition to all these arrests, police say they seized four guns including an assault rifle and found several drugs.
