34th Annual Free Dental Day to be Held Friday in Flemingsburg

FLEMINGSBURG, Ky. (WTVQ) – Dr. William J. Moorhead and his team of dentists, volunteers, and sponsors are continuing their decades-long tradition of offering free smiles to individuals who need dental work at the 34th Annual Free Dental Day to be held Friday, December 2 at Flemingsburg Dental Care.

This December’s special event promises to be the largest yet.  In the last four years alone, Dr. Moorhead’s team has treated over 200 patients with nearly $100,000 in free dental care.

Flemingsburg Dental Care will devote the entire day to providing free dental services such as cleanings, x-rays and fillings to individuals in need.

“Even though the great recession is supposedly over, its lasting effects have left too many people without the resources to afford their needed dental treatment.  Our Annual Free Treatment Day is our way of giving back to the community, and being there for the people who are in need of dental services,” said Dr. Moorhead.
