32 whooping cough cases now confirmed
LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Lexington remains in a whooping cough outbreak.
According to the Fayette County Health Department, the city is up to 32 confirmed cases of pertussis since April 26.
Five new cases have been reported in the past week.
Whooping cough is a highly contagious illness spread through coughing and sneezing.
