All 32 NFL Teams Represented at UK Pro Day

LEXINGTON, KY (WTVQ)- Friday morning was a sight to see for Kentucky Wildcat Football Head Coach Mark Stoops. All 32 NFL teams were represented at UK’s Pro Day, which featured 16 former Cats. Amongst the NFL executives were Oakland Raiders General Manager Mike Mayock, Minnesota Vikings GM Rick Spielman and Vikings Head Coach Mike Zimmer. It was the largest turnout in the Stoops Era for a UK Pro Day.

The biggest winners of the day were Chris Westry and Lonnie Johnson. Westry turned in a hand-timed 40-yard dash of 4.31 and a vertical jump of 38 inches.

Meanwhile, Johnson wasn’t to far behind finishing with a 4.39 40.

Consensus Top 5 pick Josh Allen was also in attendance Friday. Allen was measured once again for scouts, but didn’t participate in any drills. The former UK linebacker told reporters that he’s already shown NFL scouts and GM’s what he can do, so there was no point in doing it again.

Benny Snell also skipped out on a few drills, but decided to run a couple of others to better showcase his ability as a running back.

Two other prominent Cats were did not participate, Mike Edwards and CJ Conrad.

Edwards is spending the next month in Florida training on his 40-yard dash.

Conrad was just cleared to play this week. Last month doctors at the NFL Combine discovered a heart issue with the former UK tight end that could put his life at risk if he participated.

On Monday, Conrad flew up to Boston and was cleared to play. Conrad said the last month has been a battle emotionally.

Both Edward and Conrad will have their own Pro Days on April 8.
