3 teens charged in string of Anderson Co. robberies

ANDERSON CO., Ky. (WTVQ) – Police say three teens have been charged in connection to a sting of armed robberies around Anderson Co.

The Anderson News reports that 18-year-old Jesse Drummond (pictured above,) along with 19-year-old Octavus George and 18-year-old Ian Chilton were charged in those robberies earlier this year in Lawrenceburg.

The newspaper says thieves wearing masks stormed into three different convenience stores in January, stealing money and tobacco products.  Police believe there were two other suspects involved.  They are both said to be minors, so their names aren’t being released.
