3 School Buses Collide; About 40 Students Taken To Hospital

State Police in Green County said almost 40 students were taken to the hospital Friday after three school buses collided.

Troopers said that none of the injuries had been life-threatening.

Investigators said the collision happened when one bus rear-ended another on Kentucky 61 in Pitman Creek area.

It reportedly caused a chain reaction of collisions that troopers said also involved a pickup truck.

State Police continued to investigate the accident.
