3 people found dead in fire in Robertson Co.

DRY RIDGE, Ky. (WTVQ) — Three people were found fatally shot, one with a self-inflicted wound, inside a burned-down building in Robertson County on Sunday.

According to Kentucky State Police, troopers responded to a fire on Oak Ridge Road around 3:30 p.m. Sunday.

Once there, fire crews told KSP they couldn’t enter the home due to the intensity of the fire. Around 9 p.m., crews were able to get inside and found three adults had been shot.

One adult appeared to have died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, KSP said.

At this time, no names have been released.

The circumstances around this incident are being investigated by KSP.
