3.0 quake reported at Kentucky/Tennessee border

NEW TAZEWELL, Tenn. (WTVQ) – Part of the Kentucky-Tennessee border was shaking Wednesday morning.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 3.0 magnitude earthquake hit the border around 11:23 a.m.

The earthquake was centered about six miles west of New Tazewell, Tennessee.

There are no reports of damage.
