24 more Kentucky counties get F.E.M.A. assistance
FRANKFORT, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) — Governor Andy Beshear announced Wednesday that 24 additional Kentucky counties have been approved for Individual Assistance through FEMA following last month’s widespread flooding.
The update brings the total number of counties now eligible for federal help to 37.
Residents in those areas can apply for assistance by visiting disasterassistance.gov or calling 800-621-FEMA (3362).
Beshear thanked the Trump administration and federal officials for their continued support and noted that more counties could still be added as damage assessments continue across the state.
