Attempted murder charge after man reportedly chokes, stabs girlfriend
GEORGETOWN, Ky. (WTVQ) – A man is accused in Scott County of trying to kill his girlfriend by choking and stabbing her.
The Lexington Herald-Leader says 27-year-old Damou Akbar Bradley was arrested Sunday, charged with attempted murder, assault and possession of marijuana.
According to the paper, the attack happened on Saturday night on Copper Kettle Path.
Georgetown police tell the Herald-Leader Bradley choked the woman with bare hands until she became unconscious, then stabbed her at least three times with a knife.
She was taken to the hospital.
Her condition isn’t known.
