World Chicken Festival returns to London in just over two weeks

LONDON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – The 2025 World Chicken Festival is just over two weeks away, and preparations are already underway in Laurel County.

Carnival rides have begun arriving at the festival grounds, signaling the countdown to one of the state’s most popular community celebrations.

Advance armband tickets are now on sale for $25 each, cash only. The London-Laurel Tourism Commission/World Chicken Festival office is the only location accepting credit or debit cards. Tickets are also available at several local banks, including Central Finance, Commercial Bank, Community Trust, CVNB, Eagle Finance, Forcht Bank, and others.
