Leestown Coffee takes home 1st place as best cold brew coffee

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) After being cancelled in 2020 due to the pandemic, the Cold Brew Coffee Festival returned for its 3rd showing.

Approximately 3,000 people were out to sample coffee from 17 local coffee shops and roasters. Lexington Farmers Market Manager, Josh England says they are happy to have everyone back.

“The Cold Brew Coffee Festival is one of our most important yearly events. We’re glad we could bring it back from its year hiatus last year. We’re really happy that we were able to have people come out and enjoy and see all the coffee that people are working hard to produce here in our state” said England.

ABC 36’s Erica Biven’s was one of the judges of the best cold brew coffee that saw Leestown Coffee take home first place.
