End of eviction moratorium approaches, upcoming landlord information meeting July 27

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The eviction moratorium will be ending soon. Some landlords may have questions about what comes next, and the City of Lexington hopes to clarify some of that.

An information and sharing forum for landlords only will be hosted at the Mother Teresa Center on Tuesday, July 27 at 1 p.m.

The Director of the Housing Stabilization Program of LFUCG will be at the meeting, as well as LFUCG case workers to check the status of landlord cases and answer questions about the assistance.

The meeting will start with a General Gathering focused on providing information. Afterwards, landlords can individually check the status of their cases.

Additionally, a new program called Second Chance Rentals will be introduced at the forum. The program seeks to connect those in need of housing with willing landlords.

Registration is not required for the event.

Currently, the nationwide eviction moratorium ends July 31.
